The supporters of Svennis Grabbar FF booed when Perdizrodrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Carlos Vides fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perdizrodrigues's protests and gave Carlos Vides a yellow card for diving instead. The Svennis Grabbar FF fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Svennis Grabbar FF's Manoel Furlan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Svennis Grabbar FF's Sixten Fridlund got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Raimond Kotkas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Váldson Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernst Skog in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Manoel Furlan had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Genílson Quirino charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Genílson Quirino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Svennis Grabbar FF made a substitution. Antônio Carlos Tasso replaced Manoel Furlan. After a rather tough play, Perdizrodrigues's Genílson Quirino got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes Svennis Grabbar FF got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Fridlund. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 程岚松 was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Perdizrodrigues's zone, Ernst Skog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Váldson Loyola came out of the goal and Ernst Skog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Váldson Loyola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antônio Carlos Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos Tasso in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Váldson Loyola prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Perdizrodrigues's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Svensson was slow to take the kick. During this time Svennis Grabbar FF's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Daniel Svensson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Perdizrodrigues's Váldson Loyola did a great save. With his leg Váldson Loyola managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Svennis Grabbar FF's Antônio Carlos Tasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Antônio Carlos Tasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Váldson Loyola skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Antônio Carlos Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Svennis Grabbar FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Svennis Grabbar FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
