Lukas Arlikevičius started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute, Cristinel Buzoianu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Sauveur came free, but Franko Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gianluca Buffon was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Lukas Arlikevičius capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lukas Arlikevičius really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Lionel-Andrés Messi kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Lukas Arlikevičius reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gianluca Buffon. The goal made the score 2-2. Defensores de Lombroso's Gianluca Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Lombroso from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Teodelina FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ferrer came free, but Franko Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franko Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36thth minute of the game Lukas Arlikevičius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Lombroso's Gianluca Buffon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Lukas Arlikevičius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal and Lukas Arlikevičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luca Savinov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gianluca Buffon having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Sauveur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Defensores de Lombroso's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Arlikevičius in the 51st minute of play. Ubaldo Gelacio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Franko Armani made a huge save. Gianluca Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Arlikevičius in the 53rd minute of the match. Lukas Arlikevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Porfiro kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Luca Savinov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodelina FC's Silvano Baladi was substituted for Lukas Arlikevičius. Teodelina FC's attentive Siro Porfiro managed to snatch the ball when Agustin Fidencio made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Lionel-Andrés Messi struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Franko Armani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. Defensores de Lombroso's Alan Varela was substituted for Lucio Cordarrol. Defensores de Lombroso's Valentín Barco was substituted for Federico Pirro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvano Baladi in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluca Buffon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute of the match Teodelina FC got a corner. Defensores de Lombroso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gyuro Tzonkin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lionel-Andrés Messi got free with Franko Armani in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gianluca Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Baladi in the 80th minute of the match. Silvano Baladi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluca Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Silvano Baladi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Teodelina FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 93rd minute, Silvano Baladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gianluca Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Defensores de Lombroso's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
