Esteban Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Sampaio in the 4th minute of the match. Flamengo's Sem Titulescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 14 in the game by Ciro Emenon from a close distance when the talented Sem Titulescu managed to make a qualified save. Flamengo's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fabiano Hoffmann in the 22nd minute of play forced Dolores's goalkeeper Esteban Gipuzkoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Oscar Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Martxelin came free, but Sem Titulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristobal Santana didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 26th minute. Dolores's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristobal Santana got free with Sem Titulescu in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteban Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Dolores's Honorio Aizpuru got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Esteban Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Hoffmann in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Faustão Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robben De Mulder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sem Titulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robben De Mulder was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Cristobal Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's Sem Titulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 54 minutes, Ruy Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo and the Dolores players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Ruy Figueiredo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Robben De Mulder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Flamengo's Esteban Gipuzkoa threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oscar Andrade, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Israel Martxelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sem Titulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Robben De Mulder left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dolores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Oscar Andrade hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Israel Martxelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flávio Meirelles charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Meirelles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Meirelles. 74 minutes into the match, Dolores's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Hoffmann came free, but Esteban Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flamengo's Sem Titulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robben De Mulder in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Dolores's Jaroslaw Tarka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sem Titulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute Oscar Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Dolores's Esteban Gipuzkoa got control of the ball when Wilson Sampaio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Dolores's Narciso Basualdo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Narciso Basualdo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Dolores protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Narciso Basualdo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 81 minutes into the game, one of Dolores:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dolores:s Esteban Gipuzkoa showed great skill when he stopped Faustão Carvalho:s penalty. In the 84th minute, Benjamim Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Robben De Mulder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dolores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robben De Mulder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dolores's Esteban Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Dolores from getting a goal against them. Sem Titulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Martxelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute Dolores were awarded a corner. Robben De Mulder went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruy Figueiredo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sem Titulescu. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-0 in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Flamengo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dolores.
