Dante Palban took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aaron Glanselius. SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aaron Glanselius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jiří Hasman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Henrik Möllgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jiří Hasman. Henrik Möllgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Martinez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Henrique Morais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th match minute, SSC Ambrosini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Månsson to maneuver through the defense. Dante Palban was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, one of Azulgrana 81:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Azulgrana 81:s Jiří Hasman showed great skill when he stopped Henrik Möllgren:s penalty. SSC Ambrosini's Henrik Möllgren got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The SSC Ambrosini supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SSC Ambrosini would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
