Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Cabral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pipis Karapatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Legia Stavanger from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Trygve Stormoen. Pipis Karapatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Slavcho Kanov made a huge save. In the 30th minute Javier Turi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pipis Karapatakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavcho Kanov having to make a save. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiph Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches got control of the ball when Orest Bredun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfred Klawki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jardel Sanches made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Pipis Karapatakis came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Karapatakis in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaká Rot in the 71st minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiph Biörling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Slavcho Kanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grêmio FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darío Pereyra in the 80th minute. If Eriberto Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Grêmio FBPA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darío Pereyra in the 89th minute. Javier Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grêmio FBPA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
