Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kyle Thake got the match started through his kick off. Matt Sciortino charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt Sciortino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matt Sciortino kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Dawiec in the 7th minute of play. After 8 played minutes BYDGOSTIA got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Dalmai. Zbyszko Leper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgio Caruana in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Floriana Celtics were awarded a corner. Matt Sciortino went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Floriana Celtics's corner Alex Testaferrata Viani fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zbyszko Leper quite easily take care of the ball. 13 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patryk Zgonina came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the BYDGOSTIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patryk Zgonina couldn't finish the play. During the 17th minute of the match Matt Sciortino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Matt Sciortino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Matt Sciortino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Olgierd Kowalski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini. Richard Lentini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 30 played minutes Floriana Celtics got a freekick which was hit by Mike Stivala. Richard Lentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Kowalski in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of BYDGOSTIA booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Testaferrata Viani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richard Lentini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicklas Lindström in the 42nd minute of the match. When Olgierd Kowalski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the BYDGOSTIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olgierd Kowalski couldn't finish the play. Olgierd Kowalski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patryk Zgonina might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Lentini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patryk Zgonina ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Lentini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patryk Zgonina, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olgierd Kowalski made a kick off. When Alex Testaferrata Viani got free in front of the goal in the 56th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zbyszko Leper was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Nicklas Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cedric Axisa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Olgierd Kowalski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Richard Lentini came out and tried to block the shot, but Olgierd Kowalski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 61st minute. 67 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Testaferrata Viani came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BYDGOSTIA's Fabio-Roman Cannavaro was substituted for Mariusz Warka. BYDGOSTIA's Marcin Prusinowski was substituted for Olgierd Kowalski. In the 69th match minute, Floriana Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgio Caruana to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, BYDGOSTIA's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Thake came free, but Zbyszko Leper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Richard Lentini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcin Prusinowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Prusinowski came free, but Richard Lentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute BYDGOSTIA were awarded a corner. Sebastian Bochynski went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Sebastian Bochynski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Richard Lentini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcin Prusinowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Lentini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Robby Baggio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbyszko Leper. Zbyszko Leper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BYDGOSTIA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
