The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Les Pionniers de Touraine. Tanek Zurawski had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Adama Traore's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Les Pionniers de Touraine's attentive Gaël Thuilliez managed to snatch the ball when Lochlainn Holt made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 23rdth minute of the game Adama Traore who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Les Pionniers de Touraine's Tanek Zurawski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when Les Pionniers de Touraine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaël Thuilliez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adama Traore in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Zurawski saved Les Pionniers de Touraine from getting behind. The Uí Fergusa fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Uí Fergusa's Adama Traore looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Batistuta in the 29th minute of play forced Les Pionniers de Touraine's goalkeeper Tanek Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Les Pionniers de Touraine's Abraham Beauval made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sergio Rochet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Léon Sureau was slow to take the kick. During this time Les Pionniers de Touraine's players had a chance to rest.
