If Karim Morientes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute Karim Morientes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rune Jarstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mieszko Barniszke hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Jarstein narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rune Jarstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karim Morientes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Valhalla F.C.'s Karim Morientes fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 37th minute of the match, Zé Paulo da Silva got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benicio Larez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 44th minute, Karim Morientes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valhalla F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Karim Morientes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rune Jarstein having to make a save. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Morientes in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karim Morientes to make the kick off. Benicio Larez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedikt Bensch, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Wilhelm Nienhaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Benicio Larez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bai Yong Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Jarstein having to interfere. Iker Maldini got a throw-in 64 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Izel Ronaldo. A collision led to Hertha 1969 getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Gigel Elenescu hit a great ball. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Rupert Heidingsfelder replaced Wilhelm Nienhaus. Gigel Elenescu kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match.
