Alto Mondragon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Joko Waluyo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 5th playminute. In the 10th minute Joko Waluyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alto Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Motala AIF's Alto Mondragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Motala AIF from getting a goal against them. Alto Mondragon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joko Waluyo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Alto Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Fadhly Haryanto-Ie sent off a good shot on target. Motala AIF's Alto Mondragon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Motala AIF from getting a goal against them. Motala AIF's Alto Mondragon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joko Waluyo in the 25th minute of play. Joko Waluyo scored 4-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alto Mondragon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's goalkeeper Alto Mondragon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristoforo Strazzabosco. Motala AIF's Fabio Erköseoglu got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Original Sabahan's Joko Waluyo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alto Mondragon. Alto Mondragon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Radowit Murdza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Widodo Reza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radowit Murdza to make the kick off. A collision led to Motala AIF getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Erol Tokyüz hit a great ball. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by Motala AIF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dewa Kooth was slow to take the kick. During this time Original Sabahan's players had a chance to rest. Original Sabahan were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Motala AIF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dewa Kooth took the corner. Alto Mondragon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joko Waluyo in the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes in the game Herbert Komanski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Fabio Erköseoglu. A collision led to Motala AIF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Herbert Komanski hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Joko Waluyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Micky Febrian in the 91st minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Alto Mondragon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alto Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecep Wijaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Original Sabahan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
