Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koča Kafarov in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarle Volden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jarle Volden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koča Kafarov's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Thor Gaarder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lu Zhen Sheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Osvaldo Koldo hit a great ball. Tamer Aksel made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Thor Gaarder immediately put the ball in play. Koča Kafarov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koča Kafarov in the 20th minute of play forced Kjønstad BF's goalkeeper Jarle Volden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarle Volden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Otto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kjønstad BF's Nils-Arne Solevåg got a free kick in the 27th minute. Koča Kafarov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 28th minute Koča Kafarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarle Volden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of DREAM TEAM WORLD booed when Kjønstad BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamer Aksel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Gaarder. Jarle Volden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koča Kafarov in the 34th minute of play. Osvaldo Koldo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Walter Kannemann came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Kjønstad BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Kannemann couldn't finish the play. Osvaldo Koldo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Storm Helvik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kjønstad BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Storm Helvik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koča Kafarov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 67 minutes, Waldemar Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Zachariasz Psotka was substituted for Jonathan Otto. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Paulo Jon replaced Elpidio Curcio. In the 72nd minute, Walter Kannemann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marius Larsen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Castro in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Odon in the 75th minute of play forced DREAM TEAM WORLD's goalkeeper Lu Zhen Sheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DREAM TEAM WORLD's Betinho de Queirós quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tamer Aksel, made in the 77th minute of the game. After 78 minutes, Waldemar Cardozo made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kjønstad BF's Jarle Volden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Kjønstad BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Storm Helvik to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Fabiano Castro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jarle Volden was a little too slow when Waldemar Cardozo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-2. Jarle Volden made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Koldo in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute DREAM TEAM WORLD were awarded a corner. Luiz Fabiano Castro went to the cornerflag to take it. Jarle Volden made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Waldemar Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. DREAM TEAM WORLD played a much better game than Kjønstad BF and deserved their victory. The Kjønstad BF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
