The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maximino Berto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perry Swanson in the 5th minute. The corner led UE Sant Julià's Edinson Cavani to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximino Berto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, A.K.Sh Albania's Maximino Berto got control of the ball when Bryan Hornsby tried to sneak it across the goal line. Perry Swanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Berto having to interfere. Maximino Berto made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Perry Swanson sent off a good shot on target. Mandi Oca hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to UE Sant Julià getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Martyn Smart hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perry Swanson in the 27th minute of play forced A.K.Sh Albania's goalkeeper Maximino Berto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Mandi Oca put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Johnnie Dobson. Johnnie Dobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Pierre Bull took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maximino Berto. A.K.Sh Albania's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of A.K.Sh Albania booed when UE Sant Julià was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bryan Hornsby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximino Berto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perry Swanson's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Johnnie Dobson came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by A.K.Sh Albania's Luciano Trigo. But to his dismay, Luciano Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The A.K.Sh Albania players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
