Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hamzah Al Motar to make the kick off. The supporters of Днепр ФК booed when Al Yarmouk Kuwait was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahmoud Al Bloshi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaspar Calisto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eshaq Al Khars made a huge save. 73 minutes into the game, Днепр ФК's Gaspar Calisto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
