Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Dalmo Tasso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 22nd minute of play. Miroslav Motuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Álvarez's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 27th minute of play. Omar Bieito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Tasso having to interfere. Moneyball's Dalmo Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Veli Mirac in the 38th minute of play. Moneyball's Dalmo Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Moneyball from getting a goal against them. Dalmo Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orhan Veli Mirac in the 42nd minute of the match. Moneyball's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cheng Wei Yan in the 47th minute. The corner ended in Cheng Wei Yan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC XY's Miroslav Motuz did a great save. After the first half Moneyball were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustín Álvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Álvarez in the 51st minute of play forced FC XY's goalkeeper Miroslav Motuz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustín Álvarez took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslav Motuz. Miroslav Motuz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Agustín Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miroslav Motuz was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Dalmo Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orhan Veli Mirac's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Moneyball's zone, Omar Bieito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmo Tasso came out of the goal and Omar Bieito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moneyball made a substitution. Oliver Bergman replaced Roland Rakowicz. Agustín Álvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miroslav Motuz having to make a save. Miroslav Motuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Álvarez in the 70th minute of play. Miroslav Motuz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustín Álvarez's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agustín Álvarez in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miroslav Motuz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moneyball's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Álvarez in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miroslav Motuz saved FC XY from getting behind. FC XY's Martin Slaninka was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dalmo Tasso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 82 minutes into the match, Moneyball's Agustín Álvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Motuz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86thth minute of the game Omar Bieito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moneyball's Dalmo Tasso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Agustín Álvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miroslav Motuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Moneyball's Stephen Curry got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, one of FC XY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miroslav Motuz went to the wrong direction when Cheng Wei Yan was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Dalmo Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pavlovič in the 96th minute of play. The FC XY supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Moneyball's performance. The match ended with a win for Moneyball.
