Herb Good made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Aron Chindriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Lei Bin in the 9th minute of the match. Sport Lisboa e Benfica were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Barış Birsoy took the corner. The corner ended in Barış Birsoy almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Aron Chindriș did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Leu in the 13th minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Herb Good successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Leu in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viorel Leu in the 22nd minute of play forced Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goalkeeper Herb Good to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Herb Good played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viorel Leu in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Narcis Răcănel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herb Good. The goal made the score 2-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Viorel Leu took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Herb Good to make any attempt to save it. Herb Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Răcănel, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Narcis Răcănel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herb Good made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 39th minute, Viorel Leu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GoooooooooooooooooooooooL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 41 minutes into the game, Du Lei Bin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GoooooooooooooooooooooooL the free kick. Du Lei Bin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Viorel Leu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herb Good. That made the score 7-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viorel Leu to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Paulino Marin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herb Good was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. 62 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Jean Britton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Chindriș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aron Chindriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Britton in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Viorel Leu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herb Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herb Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Răcănel, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Sport Lisboa e Benfica defense, Viorel Leu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herb Good. The Sport Lisboa e Benfica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herb Good should have stopped the shot. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL made a substitution. Pankracy Siwy replaced Narcis Răcănel. After a rather tough play, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's Rainier Steiner got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute Hortêncio Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herb Good saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herb Good made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pankracy Siwy in the 85th minute of play. Herb Good came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's Pankracy Siwy. But to his dismay, Pankracy Siwy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Paulino Marin struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Herb Good didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GoooooooooooooooooooooooL. In the 94th minute, Pankracy Siwy made a precise shot to the right of Herb Good. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. There was no doubt that GoooooooooooooooooooooooL were the better team. GoooooooooooooooooooooooL's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
