Spectators: 208 (Terracing: 156, Seating: 48, VIP seats: 4) 4 minutes into the game, Heikki Sulonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Knut Grevad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Knut Grevad came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Sarsaparilla's Heikki Sulonen. But to his dismay, Heikki Sulonen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 10th minute Heimo Heliskoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Grevad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hoberg United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juha-Pekka Glad was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Sarsaparilla's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Juha-Pekka Glad almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hoberg United's Knut Grevad did a great save. 15 minutes into the game, AC Sarsaparilla's Heikki Sulonen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Knut Grevad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 18 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's goal looked a bit too open when Esa Joenväärä came free, but Knut Grevad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Heikki Sulonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Knut Grevad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute of the match AC Sarsaparilla got a corner. Hoberg United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Juha-Pekka Glad ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on AC Sarsaparilla's corner Juha-Pekka Glad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Knut Grevad quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hoberg United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Knut Grevad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heimo Heliskoski in the 29th minute of play. Juha-Pekka Glad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Knut Grevad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Esa Joenväärä cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Knut Grevad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Knut Grevad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heimo Heliskoski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AC Sarsaparilla fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when AC Sarsaparilla's Heikki Sulonen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Heimo Heliskoski scored 0-8 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Knut Grevad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half AC Sarsaparilla were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Heimo Heliskoski was the one to do the kick off. Hoberg United's Knut Grevad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heimo Heliskoski in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes Hoberg United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Juha-Pekka Glad who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hoberg United's goalie and right to Esa Joenväärä. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hoberg United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Esa Joenväärä kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Knut Grevad. That made the score 0-10 in the 65 minute of play. When AC Sarsaparilla's Joonatan Huttunen in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hoberg United's goalie prevented a goal. Knut Grevad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonatan Huttunen in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Sarsaparilla's Esa Joenväärä slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Knut Grevad. That made the score 0-11 after 76 minutes of play. AC Sarsaparilla made a substitution. Isko Kortelainen replaced Reko Brinck. AC Sarsaparilla's Esa Joenväärä got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. AC Sarsaparilla made a substitution. Uoti Grönholm replaced Joonatan Huttunen. Hoberg United's Knut Grevad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. Heimo Heliskoski scored 0-12 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Knut Grevad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hoberg United's Knut Grevad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heimo Heliskoski in the 91st minute of play. In the 98th minute Heimo Heliskoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Grevad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Sarsaparilla's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
