A collision led to Black horses getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. George Maradona hit a great ball. Estudiantes de América were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Black horses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Szymon Pilitowski took the corner. The corner ended in Szymon Pilitowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Black horses's Valdis Felbergs did a great save. In the 13th minute, George Maradona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Fran Tudor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kraig Fred received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdis Felbergs came out and tried to block the shot, but Kraig Fred slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cornelio Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Ruisko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdis Felbergs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If 김 감 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tzanko Shtrapulyov hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Szymon Pilitowski shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdis Felbergs showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Sauveur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Kraig Fred cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Valdis Felbergs was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balvis Kiberkalns to maneuver through the defense. Black horses's Marco Assendelft got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Miodek to maneuver through the defense. Concetto Trasatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Valdis Felbergs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Estudiantes de América had won after a very even match.
