Sultan-Mehmet Khan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Okanalp Tuncer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nicolas Sarmento charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Sarmento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nicolas Sarmento hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Franck Gamel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ✩ Pep Team ✩'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Franck Gamel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gustavo Mourato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Mourato in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okanalp Tuncer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 狄迪傲 might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Spase Kastrati. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 狄迪傲 ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Basel's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jakov Bundev was slow to take the kick. During this time ✩ Pep Team ✩'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Franck Gamel to fire away a dangerous shot which Okanalp Tuncer despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th minute, Meng Yao Ao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 狄迪傲 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Spase Kastrati having to make a save. A collision led to ✩ Pep Team ✩ getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Meng Yao Ao hit a great ball. Okanalp Tuncer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franck Gamel in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sultan-Mehmet Khan to make the kick off. FC Basel's 狄迪傲 managed to work through ✩ Pep Team ✩'s defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. 狄迪傲 dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Sultan-Mehmet Khan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Okanalp Tuncer having to interfere. Spase Kastrati was a little too slow when 狄迪傲 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-2. Okanalp Tuncer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franck Gamel, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 66 played minutes FC Basel got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Kostka. A collision led to FC Basel getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Wojciech Kostka hit a great ball. The ✩ Pep Team ✩ fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when ✩ Pep Team ✩'s Sultan-Mehmet Khan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 93rd minute Sultan-Mehmet Khan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Tuncer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanalp Tuncer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sultan-Mehmet Khan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Mourato in the 94th minute of play forced FC Basel's goalkeeper Okanalp Tuncer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Jakov Bundev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✩ Pep Team ✩ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. ✩ Pep Team ✩ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
