The CRUZ DEL SUR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Estudiantes de América were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Abundio Manzano made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Ronnie Odell came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
