The wind increased when Armando Vogrinčič made the kick off in the second half. Nacer Khlifi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kostja Vertot made a huge save. 52 minutes in the game, Nacer Khlifi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 56th minute Armando Vogrinčič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdellatif Benkhirane in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostja Vertot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alan Mota hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Fajteri's Arnulf Vidmar was substituted for Feručo Camlek. In the 71st match minute, Marrakech FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Mota to maneuver through the defense. When Edmundo Linares fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Fajteri booed when Marrakech FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Västerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fajteri's Milisav Kovše quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmundo Linares, made in the 95th minute of the game.
