The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when FC Unterrudling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edinson Haaland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Jemella read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Edinson Haaland made a precise shot to the right of Karl Jemella. FC Unterrudling's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, FC Unterrudling's Lütfullah Taycan got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 46 played minutes Chinese CJ Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Bai Feng Xiang. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edinson Haaland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Frankfurter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xande Xande in the 94th minute. FC Unterrudling's Xande Xande managed to work through Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Xande Xande dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.
