With his leg Frank Frankfurter managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Kyoto Sanga F.C.'s Clarence Pumaren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 24 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Clarence Pumaren came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Balabagan came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Clarence Pumaren scored to the left of an out of position Frank Frankfurter, making the score, 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clarence Pumaren to make the kick off. Chinese CJ Youth Academy made a substitution. Yuan Ting Chao replaced Lu Zhan Jian. If Günther Doty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bayan Bonzon. That made the score 2-5 after 86 minutes of play. Günther Doty took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bayan Bonzon. Bayan Bonzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-6. Günther Doty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Günther Doty dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
