The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Roman Shalikashvili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Herminio Lleir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sabir Chebaevskiy having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Ullesthorpe's zone, Herminio Lleir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabir Chebaevskiy came out of the goal and Herminio Lleir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Herminio Lleir charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Ullesthorpe's Roman Shalikashvili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Hondo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute of the match, Otar Mingrelsky got a very nice opportunity to score, but Manuel Hondo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Ullesthorpe's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Lleir came free, but Sabir Chebaevskiy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Shalikashvili was the one to do the kick off. If Jacinto Igon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes, Geronimo Ignazio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Noetinger AFC and the Ullesthorpe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Shalikashvili in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Hondo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 83rd minute, Herminio Lleir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Ullesthorpe's Sabir Chebaevskiy got control of the ball when Herminio Lleir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Noetinger AFC's Manuel Hondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Shalikashvili in the 86th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Noetinger AFC's zone, Otar Mingrelsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Hondo came out of the goal and Otar Mingrelsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Noetinger AFC's goalkeeper Manuel Hondo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Roman Shalikashvili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
