With a little luck, Fragancia fc's Blas Evarado got control of the ball when Rian Dunne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Auley Quinnless hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rian Dunne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Rian Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Kilclooney fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 78th minute, Rian Dunne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blas Evarado was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. 83 minutes into the game, Fragancia fc's Teo Guillem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lewy Barrett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4.
