Santiago Sal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Sal in the 13th minute of play forced Lechuzas's goalkeeper Albano Matteo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Matteo was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Filiberto Menendo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Filiberto Menendo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Los Bepis's Feliciano Lluciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Oriol in the 17th minute of play. When Antonio Santos fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Bepis's protests and gave Antonio Santos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Bepis getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Antonio Santos hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the game, Los Bepis's Filiberto Menendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Sal in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Matteo saved Lechuzas from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Albano Matteo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. From close distance Santiago Sal pressed in the 4-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 30 minutes into the game. In the 38th match minute, Los Bepis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Veremundo to maneuver through the defense. Albano Matteo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Sal in the 41st minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Oriol was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmar Maxin during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Los Bepis got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Maxin. Tomas Haritz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Los Bepis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 76 minutes, Bernardino Xabier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lechuzas and the Los Bepis players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Los Bepis fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Los Bepis's Santiago Sal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Santiago Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Matteo having to interfere. A collision led to Lechuzas getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Conrado James hit a great ball. Santiago Sal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Matteo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Los Bepis's Filiberto Menendo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Albano Matteo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Los Bepis's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
