Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golaki Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Wágner Fox put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Germano. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano got control of the ball when Horácio Gonçalves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horácio Gonçalves got free with Carlos Germano in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wágner Fox's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Wágner Fox sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eurico Rezende who took care of the corner kick. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Golaki Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Golaki Goiano made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Jataiense Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Gonçalves. Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Fox in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golaki Goiano in the 59th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Fox in the 61st minute of play. Wilfredo Gaxan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Alperen Bozkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Wágner Fox made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Germano. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jataiense Futebol Clube's Felipe Hendrix was substituted for Eurico Rezende. In the 71st minute, Wágner Fox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Germano was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jataiense Futebol Clube made a substitution. Martin Firoiu replaced Horácio Gonçalves. 75 minutes into the game, Wágner Fox cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Carlos Germano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute Golaki Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Germano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Pereira in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of Jataiense Futebol Clube booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustin Pacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Golaki Goiano came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Nilmar Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jataiense Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Jataiense Futebol Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
