Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sufi Orun got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kirk Godfrey in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Nogueira saved Calesso FC from getting behind. The Bangladesh fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Bangladesh's Kirk Godfrey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Bangladesh's Matt Doughty got control of the ball when Emil Genev tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Trevor Gould left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bangladesh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Serginho Nogueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Serginho Nogueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor Gould in the 18th minute of the match. Matt Doughty made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kåre Wahlstrøm in the 20th minute. When Sufi Orun fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calesso FC's protests and gave Sufi Orun a yellow card for diving instead. Sufi Orun hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The referee gave Bangladesh a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mickey Beckwith, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calesso FC's Serginho Nogueira. 0-3. In the 34th minute Kirk Godfrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bangladesh's Matt Doughty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kåre Wahlstrøm in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Sufi Orun suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Pierre Bilton charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pierre Bilton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Calesso FC's Alfonso Ceandro was substituted for Sufi Orun. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kirk Godfrey to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Cícero Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Doughty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Emil Genev got a free kick in the 57th minute. Mickey Beckwith's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serginho Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Calesso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kirk Godfrey came free, but Serginho Nogueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Godfrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Genev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matt Doughty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Matt Doughty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Pereira in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Calesso FC got a corner. Bangladesh's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eren Tavil ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Calesso FC's corner Eren Tavil fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matt Doughty quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th minute Cícero Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matt Doughty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trevor Gould in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the game, Emil Genev was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calesso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bangladesh the free kick. In the 91st match minute, Calesso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Genev to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Calesso FC's Lucas Rabelo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Mickey Beckwith could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Serginho Nogueira made a huge save. Matt Doughty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Godfrey in the 97th minute of play forced Calesso FC's goalkeeper Serginho Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Calesso FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bangladesh were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
