Patrick Armstrong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Wahlstrøm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Calesso FC's Serginho Nogueira got control of the ball when Thorbjörn Olerius tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th match minute, ManagerZone Crew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Majewski to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goal looked a bit too open when Sufi Orun came free, but Patrick Armstrong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Anderson Schulle. Sufi Orun took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrick Armstrong. ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Calesso FC booed when ManagerZone Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thorsten Dietz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Sufi Orun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Armstrong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Linkhorst got free with Serginho Nogueira in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Linkhorst to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Emil Genev mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calesso FC and the ManagerZone Crew players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emil Genev hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Linkhorst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Nogueira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emil Genev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrick Armstrong came out and tried to block the shot, but Emil Genev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 90th minute.
