If Rei Pelé had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bloodthirsty FC's goalkeeper Kenneth Biörkquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It was a well-played corner which Rei Pelé managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
