Iwo Dombroski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the KS Luxik Ruda Śląska defense, Lars Sundström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwo Dombroski. The KS Luxik Ruda Śląska fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwo Dombroski should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Lars Sundström put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Iwo Dombroski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Carnicero in the 28th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Carnicero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lars Sundström might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iwo Dombroski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Sundström ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 54th minute of the match FC Kurdistan got a corner. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto-Carlos da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. 56 minutes into the match, KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sundström came free, but Iwo Dombroski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Anthon Martinsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yin Yun Fan was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kurdistan's players had a chance to rest. KS Luxik Ruda Śląska's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Iwo Dombroski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Kurdistan fans cheered their team off the field, for while KS Luxik Ruda Śląska had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
