Kind of Blue's Zhuo Ke Le quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 9thth minute of the game Sebastian Käller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kurdistan's Alaaddin Solskjær was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 12th minute of play forced FC Kurdistan's goalkeeper Alaaddin Solskjær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Galle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 14th minute of the match. The Kind of Blue fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilhelm Galle should have stopped the shot. FC Kurdistan made a substitution. Lars Bammerman replaced Lars Sundström. After the first half FC Kurdistan were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Käller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilhelm Galle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert in the 50th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Lars Bammerman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilhelm Galle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Bammerman. 67 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Fredric Hybbert came free, but Wilhelm Galle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilhelm Galle came out and tried to block the shot, but Jörgen Levander slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 90th minute. The FC Kurdistan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
