Ysmael Marfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edinson Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edinson Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ysmael Marfil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edinson Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Pinaichev in the 31st minute of play forced Chinese CJ Youth Academy's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Edinson Haaland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dorin Agârbiceanu fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DINAMO's protests and gave Dorin Agârbiceanu a yellow card for diving instead. Dorin Agârbiceanu hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Edinson Haaland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysmael Marfil having to make a save. Ryszard Borcz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Frank Frankfurter made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, DINAMO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Agârbiceanu to maneuver through the defense. If Edinson Haaland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Günther Doty blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysmael Marfil having to make a save. The supporters of Chinese CJ Youth Academy booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Agârbiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Xu Yong Feng advanced and headed the ball into goal, 6-0 in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute, Günther Doty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ysmael Marfil was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Roni Ronaldinho took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysmael Marfil. Ysmael Marfil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 91st minute Günther Doty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ysmael Marfil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ysmael Marfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günther Doty's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the DINAMO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chinese CJ Youth Academy.
