Attila Szalai was slow to take the kick. During this time TUSE's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Attila Szalai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capo de Provincia's Héctor Barra did a great save. TUSE's Krisztián Bartha got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Capo de Provincia made a substitution. David Villa replaced Christiano Cabañas. Héctor Barra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Géza Tímár in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Villa in the 75th minute of play forced TUSE's goalkeeper Fülöp Magos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krisztián Bartha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Héctor Barra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. TUSE's Fülöp Magos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Jiménez in the 82nd minute of play. Krisztián Bartha hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. TUSE made a substitution. Kornél Várdai replaced Ferenc Szőllőssy. TUSE's Mátyás Kiss was substituted for Pál Tolnay. After 85 played minutes TUSE got a freekick which was hit by Krisztián Bartha. Luis Jiménez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fülöp Magos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, TUSE's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Jiménez came free, but Fülöp Magos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fülöp Magos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Villa in the 96th minute of play. TUSE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
