Oliver Can showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronan McCunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Robert Davison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute Claudio-Paul Caniggia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Scotland's goalkeeper Robert Davison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Nasir Nesefi. In the 31st minute, Claudio-Paul Caniggia reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Robert Davison. The goal made the score 3-0. Deportivo Pucho were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Scotland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio-Paul Caniggia took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Claudio-Paul Caniggia got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Davison quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 37 minutes Scotland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Claudio-Paul Caniggia who took care of the corner kick. Ahmet Nasir Nesefi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Robert Davison skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Archie Brodie kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Timoteo Enekos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Robert Davison to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robert Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio-Paul Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gary Petrie hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The long shot by Claudio-Paul Caniggia in the 47th minute really tested Robert Davison's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

Deportivo Pucho made a substitution. Östen Stor replaced Claudio-Paul Caniggia. Robert Davison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Östen Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 60th match minute, Scotland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Lawrie to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute Miguel Madruga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Davison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nasir Nesefi in the 67th minute of play. Scotland's Robert Davison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Marko in the 72nd minute of play. Miguel Madruga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Davison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Scotland booed when Deportivo Pucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Archie Brodie. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Timoteo Eneko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Pucho's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Eneko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Davison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Deportivo Pucho booed when Scotland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graeme Gordon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 87 played minutes, Deportivo Pucho's Inocencio Patxi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robert Davison came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Pucho reached it. Delmar Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 88 played minutes Deportivo Pucho got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Jerico. In the 91st minute, Arnulfo Marko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Davison was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Östen Stor in the 97th minute of the match. When Graeme Gordon fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scotland's protests and gave Graeme Gordon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute, Graeme Gordon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Deportivo Pucho walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
