PLASNIKE's Hector Olando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Negro in the 8th minute of play. Rahim Kornes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mutu Surdu in the 12th minute of the match. Fernando Negro might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hector Olando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Negro ran back to his position shaking his head. Hector Olando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Filip Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Olando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, PLASNIKE's Silverio Huly got a free kick in the 18th minute. The audience was convinced that Song Wei Yun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hector Olando was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Samuel Griffin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Olando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rahim Kornes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Huly in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Danilo Jordy came free, but Rahim Kornes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Olando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The attack was good, but when Song Wei Yun in the 66th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 67 minutes, Edmundo Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seraċini Għawdxin and the PLASNIKE players grew even worse after the yellow card.
