After a rather tough play, Kingpins's Karl-Johan Gregersson got a free kick in the 11th minute. Mao Hai Zhen made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Strömsbro IF's Gunnar Bergstedt. In the 25th minute Yan Guo Qiang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivar Albohm having to interfere. If Victorino Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Börge Kristiansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Bixente Poli made a huge save. Bixente Poli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Kristiansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ivar Albohm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Guo Qiang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yan Guo Qiang to make the kick off. The Kingpins fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Kingpins's Yan Guo Qiang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Victorino Euloxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josep Casanova in the 67th minute of play forced Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Ivar Albohm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kingpins made a substitution. Harry Sjö replaced Victorino Euloxu. Kingpins's Patrik Beneth was substituted for Yan Guo Qiang. Uno Blomkvist charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uno Blomkvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Strömsbro IF getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. When the final whistle sounded Kingpins left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Strömsbro IF.
