Rikard Wolff ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Real Södertälje booed when Squadra de Pippe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Porta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Cristoforo Volpe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra de Pippe's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristoforo Volpe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Glanselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanislovas Skripkauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cristoforo Volpe took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jack Glanselius. Jack Glanselius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Squadra de Pippe's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Svensson came free, but Fan Xi Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Real Södertälje getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Conny Komen hit a great ball. After 48 played minutes Real Södertälje got a freekick which was hit by Conny Komen.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Svensson in the 53rd minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristoforo Volpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jack Glanselius having to make a save. Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Squadra de Pippe from getting a goal against them. Fan Xi Hong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 76th minute of play. With a little luck, Squadra de Pippe's Fan Xi Hong got control of the ball when James Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line.
