Fabian Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giotis Kourmouzis in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Manta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gunnar Taevere. That made the score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. In the 40th minute Lukasz Bronder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Manta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes of play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Leopoldo Manta made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Taevere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukasz Bronder in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giotis Kourmouzis was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Pimentel could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Fabian Arendarski however easily saved by the left post. Arsenal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giotis Kourmouzis in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal's goalkeeper Gunnar Taevere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Damazy Turok to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunnar Taevere despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Bronder in the 59th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute Leopoldo Manta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Taevere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. István Hoffman replaced Kusti Jõeäär. Lucas Pimentel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Arendarski came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Pimentel slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Arsenal's Giotis Kourmouzis got a free kick in the 81st minute. Karol Biskupiak struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Gunnar Taevere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. In the 92ndth minute of the game Karol Biskupiak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal's Gunnar Taevere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gunnar Taevere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from István Hoffman in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Arsenal players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
