Amadeo Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iacob Stătescu in the 32nd minute of the match. Andrea Sabatini came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Reall Madrid Marienburg's Claudinho Barros. But to his dismay, Claudinho Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenz Mendi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Sabatini saved F. C. Clonmels Devils from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iacob Stătescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reall Madrid Marienburg's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damian Dubiel was slow to take the kick. During this time F. C. Clonmels Devils's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Damian Dubiel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reall Madrid Marienburg's Amadeo Rocio did a great save. 58 minutes into the match, Reall Madrid Marienburg's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Olejarz came free, but Amadeo Rocio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 98 minutes into the game, when Turgut Şimşektürk put in a rough tackle. After 98 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Turgut Şimşektürk. Wang Qian Kuan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 99th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
