The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michal Karbownik during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michal Karbownik kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Du didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filipo Inzaghi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Michal Karbownik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind NDVX's goalkeeper Du, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes NDVX's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dobromir Raszkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. Maria Stefan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Kazimierz Birkenhagen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Cezary Sitko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Bento in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cezary Sitko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Filipo Inzaghi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko got control of the ball when Kazimierz Birkenhagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Du showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filipo Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Filipo Inzaghi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the MKS Mazur Ełk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filipo Inzaghi couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filipo Inzaghi was the one to do the kick off. Cezary Sitko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Birkenhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezary Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Bento in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Wincenty Mocko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Mazur Ełk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NDVX the free kick. When NDVX's Carlos Bento in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MKS Mazur Ełk's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arkadiusz Wogensen in the 56th minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NDVX were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after MKS Mazur Ełk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dominik Pietrasz took the corner. After taking down the ball on NDVX's corner Carlos Bento fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cezary Sitko quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Carlos Bento sped through MKS Mazur Ełk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cezary Sitko. MKS Mazur Ełk's Idacio Helguera was substituted for Wincenty Mocko. Gvidas Špokas kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, MKS Mazur Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Birkenhagen came free, but Cezary Sitko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Dominik Pietrasz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cezary Sitko was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in NDVX's zone, Filipo Inzaghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Du came out of the goal and Filipo Inzaghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Idacio Helguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kazimierz Birkenhagen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes MKS Mazur Ełk got a freekick which was hit by Filipo Inzaghi. MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Birkenhagen in the 88th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Kazimierz Birkenhagen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NDVX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kazimierz Birkenhagen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kazimierz Birkenhagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cezary Sitko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NDVX fully deserved thier win.
