The supporters of Egg Chasers FC booed when Oslo City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Engelund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 3 played minutes, Egg Chasers FC's Kenny Duckworth shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Søren Valen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Egg Chasers FC reached it. In the 7th minute, Vegard Bruvoll made a precise shot to the right of Fabien Barthez. Egg Chasers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Fabien Barthez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vegard Bruvoll in the 11th minute of the match. Joachim Engelund scored 2-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabien Barthez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Delamore in the 14th minute of play. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geir-Inge Skulstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute of the match, Joachim Engelund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fabien Barthez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matthew Brookman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geir-Inge Skulstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Egg Chasers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joachim Engelund was slow to take the kick. During this time Oslo City FC's players had a chance to rest. Vegard Bruvoll was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 39 minutes into the match, Oslo City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Des Wicks came free, but Søren Valen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Des Wicks made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Oslo City FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Fu Lin hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Elof Gustafsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabien Barthez. That made the score 3-1 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Geir-Inge Skulstad made the kick off in the second half. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Oslo City FC from getting a goal against them. Fabien Barthez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Gustafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fu Lin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute of the match, Matthew Brookman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Søren Valen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Søren Valen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Delamore, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match Egg Chasers FC got a corner. Oslo City FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kenny Duckworth ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Kenny Duckworth got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Søren Valen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Søren Valen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Brookman in the 80th minute of play. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthew Brookman in the 82nd minute of play. Oslo City FC's Søren Valen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Oslo City FC from getting a goal against them. Jasper Delamore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabien Barthez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Oslo City FC's Fu Lin. But to his dismay, Fu Lin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Oslo City FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
