Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 김 감 in the 9th minute of the match. Daustad's Jo Øverås played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 12th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Sauveur in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Øverås saved Daustad from getting behind. After 13 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Are Rygg. In the 15th minute Luis Bonet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdis Felbergs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdis Felbergs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peng Song Ting in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Bernini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Are Rygg in the 24th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Bernini. The supporters of Black horses booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peng Song Ting didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Cipriano Sauveur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Daustad's Jo Øverås was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdis Felbergs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Bonet's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Daustad's Sigurd Storhaug seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sigurd Storhaug the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Daustad protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sigurd Storhaug had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Daustad fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Jo Øverås had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Cipriano Sauveur's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jo Øverås didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Sauveur went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Daustad's Alberigo Mancini was substituted for Kevin Bernini. The Daustad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Black horses were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Cipriano Sauveur made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Black horses's Balvis Kiberkalns got a free kick in the 51st minute. Valdis Felbergs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Luis Bonet might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdis Felbergs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Bonet ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Black horses's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bonet came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Black horses's 김 감 got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daustad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Marco Assendelft scored to the left of an out of position Jo Øverås, making the score, 0-2. In the 74th match minute, Black horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tzanko Shtrapulyov to maneuver through the defense. Jo Øverås took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Houben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes Daustad's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toma Chinkov who took care of the corner kick. Jo Øverås made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Marco Assendelft sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Daustad defense, Marco Assendelft kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jo Øverås. The Daustad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jo Øverås should have stopped the shot. The Black horses supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Black horses would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
