A hard shot by Ernestas Alvinskas from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Bengt-Arne Askstedt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Pavel Romanescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kim Lekberg's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a little luck, Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt got control of the ball when 孟振邦 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmantas Magdišauskas came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Pegasas Siauliai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eddie Bjurström was slow to take the kick. During this time Savage Hippo's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Eddie Bjurström hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Alves. Pavel Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kim Lekberg in the 47th minute of play.

51 minutes into the match, Savage Hippo's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Lyngdal came free, but Bengt-Arne Askstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eddie Bjurström who took care of the corner kick. In the 55th minute, 孟振邦 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Pavel Romanescu made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Kim Lekberg sent off a good shot on target. Bengt-Arne Askstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Lyngdal in the 67th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's 孟振邦 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt-Arne Askstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by 孟振邦 in the 84th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when FC Pegasas Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Lyngdal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miltos Kotsovolos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Kim Lekberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
