The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Constantin Maali showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 苞, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dráuzio Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Azubeli in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hannes Kuusk got free with Constantin Maali in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dráuzio Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Recoba, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Dráuzio Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Recoba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Gone With the Win's Dráuzio Mattos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 85 minutes, Hannes Kuusk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gone With the Win's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hannes Kuusk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
