A collision led to Darkwing Ducks getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Asgar Glensholm hit a great ball. Søren Kvols made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ma Tian in the 33rd minute of play. Søren Kvols showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ma Tian in the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, JULM C.F.'s Ma Tian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Søren Kvols made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Ma Tian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Søren Kvols was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. In the 46th minute Hassan Wiemert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Søren Kvols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ma Tian in the 51st minute. 51 minutes into the match, Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ma Tian. Ma Tian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiburcio Lejalde went to the cornerflag to take it. JULM C.F.'s Tiburcio Lejalde was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Søren Kvols in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Ma Tian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Tian in the 65th minute of play forced Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. JULM C.F.'s Jorginho Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Francis in the 70th minute of play. Jorginho Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Wiemert in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Saura in the 74th minute of play forced Darkwing Ducks's goalkeeper Søren Kvols to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hassan Wiemert scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorginho Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
