Jon-Erik Ringvold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Daniel Grønningsæter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. James Feldthaus's late challenge caught a Real Helland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. James Feldthaus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, James Feldthaus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon-Erik Ringvold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomáš Kolek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Dante in the 29th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Doriva Dante got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Daniel Grønningsæter quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Daniel Grønningsæter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter got control of the ball when Doriva Dante tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Real Helland booed when FC Pladask was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Risnes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Pladask's James Feldthaus in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Daniel Grønningsæter successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Real Helland were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after FC Pladask's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Doriva Dante took the corner. Doriva Dante made a great header on Real Helland's corner, it was just that FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter managed to reach the ball for a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for James Feldthaus to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dariusz Adamczak got free with Jon-Erik Ringvold in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Grønningsæter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ciupierdo in the 79th minute of play. Real Helland's Ole Meisingset got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Pladask's Daniel Grønningsæter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Dante in the 83rd minute of play. When Real Helland's Tor-Kristian Seim in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alexander Markussen might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jon-Erik Ringvold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
