The Geležinis Vilkas fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 13 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hänninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Hänninen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Geležinis Vilkas's Svetlozar Platikanov got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Arne Rusterholz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Crivoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galand FC's Kim Hänninen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arévalo Miñaca in the 37th minute of play. Arne Rusterholz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Quintan, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Galand FC's Kim Hänninen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Galand FC from getting a goal against them. Arévalo Miñaca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kim Hänninen came out and tried to block the shot, but Arévalo Miñaca slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabricio Quintan made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Quintan in the 59th minute of play forced Geležinis Vilkas's goalkeeper Arne Rusterholz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Geležinis Vilkas's Arévalo Miñaca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kim Hänninen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kim Hänninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arévalo Miñaca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arévalo Miñaca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kim Hänninen having to make a save. Kim Hänninen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arévalo Miñaca in the 67th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Arévalo Miñaca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kim Hänninen was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galand FC's goalkeeper Kim Hänninen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Arévalo Miñaca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geležinis Vilkas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Arne Rusterholz made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fabricio Quintan sent off a good shot on target. Geležinis Vilkas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
