Sergio Rochet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Evangelista in the 9th minute of play. Peter Morrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sergio Rochet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaac Evangelista struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Sergio Rochet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beech United. Sergio Rochet made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fabrício Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. Emanuele Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Ciceron in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Morrell came free, but Sergio Rochet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Beech United booed when Uí Fergusa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Pazura didn't get a good kick on the ball. Uí Fergusa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rudolf Arak ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sergio Rochet was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. Uí Fergusa's Zoilo Viejo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Nurkan Semdin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Diego Lugano, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After having played for 47 minutes, Fabrício Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beech United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Despite this Sergio Rochet quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Beech United's Emanuele Zoff got control of the ball when Geronimo Ciceron tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walery Pazura in the 64th minute of play forced Beech United's goalkeeper Emanuele Zoff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergio Rochet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Beech United's Fabrício Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Bednarek in the 92nd minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Sergio Rochet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Beech United getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dumitru Ghițulescu hit a great ball.
