An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Ugutz in the 3rd minute of play forced POPODARA F.C's goalkeeper Thomas Revheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas Revheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Ugutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th match minute, Kultapossukerho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuutti Vauhkonen to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Federico Mauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Hand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kultapossukerho were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after POPODARA F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Uolevi Hagman took the corner. The corner led to Kultapossukerho's Andy Jackson getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Ugutz in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th play minute Bendik Bekken came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elbert Hand. 1-0. In the 21st minute Federico Mauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Hand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sixto Ugutz in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thomas Revheim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thomas Revheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Bendik Bekken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Elbert Hand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andres Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Revheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Ugutz in the 34th minute of play. Thomas Revheim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sixto Ugutz's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. POPODARA F.C's Thomas Revheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terho Litja in the 43rd minute of play. Thomas Revheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuutti Vauhkonen in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Kultapossukerho got a corner. POPODARA F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Uolevi Hagman ran over to the corner to take the kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Ugutz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55th play minutes Federico Mauro shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Elbert Hand and just under the crossbar into goal. Kultapossukerho were furious when Lakis Mallios was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Lakis Mallios kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Kryspin Mazierski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th minute of the game Dorel Ilinca made a throw-in which Niculae Miclescu played forward. Elbert Hand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bendik Bekken in the 72nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kultapossukerho players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for POPODARA F.C.
