An unexpectedly hard shot by Sean Hollingsworth in the 12th minute of play forced Harlow AFC's goalkeeper Quentin Cobb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Stu Myers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isaac Prutton was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Benji Corby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Isaac Prutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Harlow AFC. A collision led to Harlow AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Alex Burton hit a great ball. Zack Bye sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Harlow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Hollingsworth came free, but Quentin Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Karl Fletcher came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Dorking United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl Fletcher couldn't finish the play.
