Academica Pulheim's Lutz Golke came free and shot a quick shot against goal 9 minutes in the game, fortunately Seth Mann had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Gary Lineker hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Manchester United F.C.'s Seth Mann got control of the ball when Lutz Golke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Mansilha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Seth Mann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seth Mann made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Lutz Golke sent off a good shot on target. Kurt Ahrem might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seth Mann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kurt Ahrem ran back to his position shaking his head. Kurt Ahrem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Mann having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Alex Mansilha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Seth Mann was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Lutz Golke in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Seth Mann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Seth Mann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Ahrem went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Kurt Ahrem came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Academica Pulheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt Ahrem couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Danny Ross made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Lutz Golke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Seth Mann was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United F.C.'s goalkeeper Seth Mann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seth Mann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxime Vrints, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute of the match Academica Pulheim got a corner. Manchester United F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alex Mansilha ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Dennis Bibby got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Alex Mansilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zbigniew Setara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seth Mann having to interfere. Dennis Bibby was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd minute, Dennis Bibby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 minutes, Maxime Vrints made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Manchester United F.C.'s Seth Mann tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdl Steinmetz to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Academica Pulheim were awarded a corner. Alex Mansilha went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alex Mansilha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Seth Mann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Academica Pulheim walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
